One of the districts of San Francisci is called Chinatown. It is a district with a Chinese population. It is one of the oldest of the city's attractions. Visitors can find there exotic food, delecate jewelry, ivory carvings and other oriental objects made in Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and other places. One of the main streets there is Grant Street.


People who live in San Francisci are very pround of City Hall, the 308 foot dome of which is 16 feet, 3 inches higher than that of the Capitol in Washington. The building of the City Hall houses the Public Library, the War Memorial Opera House and the Veterans Memorial Building and Exposition Auditorium. It is a very large building which was constructed in native granite in 1915.
