NEW YORK

New York is the biggest city of the USA. More than 9 million people live there. It is an industrial and cultural centre of the country. New York consists of 5 parts: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island. But of course the central part is Manhattan which stands on the granite island of Manhattan lying between two rivers: the Hudson river and the East River.
